Remembrance Sunday: 8 November 2026

On this day we remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

Remembrance parades will take place across Elmbridge on Sunday 8 November 2026.

The borough council lists parades with road closures in Claygate, Cobham, Esher, Molesey, Thames Ditton, Walton-on-Thames and Weybridge.

A further parade at Oatlands Park will start from Oatlands Park Village Club at 9am.

Free parking on Remembrance Sunday

Free parking will be available on Sunday 8 November 2026 in all Elmbridge-owned village car parks and at the following town car parks:

• Civic Centre, Esher
• Highwaymans, Esher
• Heather Place, Esher

Walton-on-Thames

• Ashley Park, Walton-on-Thames

Weybridge

• Baker Street, Weybridge
• Churchfield Road, Weybridge
• Monument Hill, Weybridge
